Jane would want her inferiors to do all the dirty work for her.

She doesn't want to have to learn the power herself.

Well, yes, in a way.

But basically she'll do whatever it takes to gain power.

But when we meet her, she does have some.

We don't know about her early life, unlike Nat and Kitty.

If Duvall was anything like Whitwell, he would've been pretty demanding. Um, in the magical sense. The bigger the boss, the higher the expectations, no?

The difference is that Jane's master was revealed to be a traitor. I was quite surprised she didn't go down with him, even if she was innocent. It seems like the sort of risk magicians wouldn't take.

Jane was clever enough/persuasive enough to outwit those trying to bring her down too.

True, but when we think of the political games Nat had to go through, all the close calls on him from the goverment, *and* he stopped 2 conspiracies, and delivered back to the goverment 2 very powerful magical objects, one wonders how the hell did Jane survive this game of thrones.

RESSURECTION!!!!!

Anyway, there haven't been many new posts in the Characters/Djinn section, so here's one.

Hopkins annoyed me. He annoyed me a lot. And Nick. (Although he wasn't techinically "bad".) and Mr. Underwood.

Jabour's on here, but not Faquarl? Just kidding. I kinda like Jabs and Quarl.

I'm a huge Farqual fan. He's one of my fav djinns. In my opinion, he's cooler than Jabor because he has both the strength and the brains. I thought I wrote this before in this topic.

I could probably hold a conversation with him. I'm completely obsessed with Greek legends, I'd get to talk to someone with first-hand (er, tentacle) experience in the matter.

Anyone else hate Naryean?
I hated her because some girl created her for the contest, and not Stroud.
I also hated her because I thought she was Queezle at first, but then it was said her name was Naryean. I liked Queezle, i truly thought she was going to come back.

I didn't really like the demonic characters (other than Barty), they just fill the whole 'cocky henchman delivering macho repartee' roles.

Jakob was pretty annoying in the Golem's Eye.

My least favorite character was simkins. He was so annoyingly dedicated to Sholto. Plus he was stuck up and his faced swelled. Thats considering that he is only a foliot.
Oh yeah, can someone show me how to get an avatar or signature? i have been trying and cant figure out how. :hmm:
